The co-parent coaching process?

It’s simple; really.

How it works:

  • Book your intake session - This is an opportunity for our professionals to understand your unique circumstances, and figure out who would be the best fit to support you.

  • Sign the co-parent coaching agreement - This document lays out the expectation for co-parents when working with our team.

  • Get support - You’ll have a co-parent coach/counsellor who has a vast amount of experience working in unique family dynamics.

How we help:

  • Co-Parenting Counselling: We help you and your co-parent address underlying issues, resolve conflicts, and improve functionality. With a focus on your child’s best interests, we guide you toward creating a peaceful and healthy co-parenting arrangement.

  • Communication Strategies: Effective communication is key in any co-parenting partnership. We’ll teach you tools and techniques to communicate calmly and constructively, even when emotions are high if you’re able to communicate directly with one another. If this isn’t a possibility we’ll help put in place strategies that mitigate conflict but allow for flow of information without direct contact with one another.

  • Conflict Resolution: Disagreements are normal, but how you handle them matters. Our team provides conflict resolution strategies that reduce tension and promote mutual respect between you and your co-parent. Most importantly, we find paths to allow decisions to be made and stalemates to be avoided.

  • Setting Healthy Boundaries: Boundaries help protect your emotional well-being while ensuring a harmonious co-parenting dynamic. We’ll help you set boundaries that work for both you and your co-parent while maintaining a positive co-parenting partnership.

  • Child-Centered Approach: The well-being of your children is our top priority. We’ll guide you in creating a parenting plan that prioritizes their emotional needs and ensures stability across both homes.
